To determine if the creature is a deity, consider whether the creature has an established church and doctrine. Furthermore, a deity must have a name. If a deity has multiple names (e.g, Athena vs. Minerva), the page name should be the most widely recognized one (Athena in this case - Greek names usually take precedence over Roman ones). You can include a Redirect link for alternate names.

Creatures categorized as a Deity in this wiki may or may not be deities in the traditional sense. If they have divine powers, or have an organized clergy or cult, they are considered deities.
