Ebony treefolk are treefolk from the dark land of Urborg. Ebony is type of tree notable for its heavy, black heartwood. Ebony heartwood is so dense that it sinks in water. Ebony treefolk are equally comfortable drawing nourishment from both natural and unnatural sources.
Its roots are equally happy to drink the water of a clear stream or the oily blood of a Phyrexian warrior.
