Akki are a subrace of goblins native to Kamigawa. They have a rocklike shell on their back, and small horns. They have a stooped posture, averaging about 3 feet in height. The lava-proof shells of akki evolved over centuries, as akki pranks almost always got seriously out of hand.
The akki, like most goblins, are vicious and stupid. They raid other creatures living in the mountains as well as ambushing travelers with rocks and primitive fire magic. Akki were very territorial, attacking and destroying any settlements that came too close to their mountain homes. The more successful their raids, the bolder they became.
Known for their deadly pranks, the akki are very territorial and see all of Sokenzan as their domain.
Among Godo's hordes, "beware of falling rocks" came to mean "akki live nearby."
Akki live in complex cave systems right below the snow line.
