A pegasus is a magnificent winged horse. They are usually white, though other colorations are possible. Though highly prized as aerial steeds, most pegasi are wild and shy creatures not easily tamed.
Pegasi are typically more intelligent than an average animal, and some can understand human speech.
Although intelligent, a pegasus does require training before it can bear a rider in combat.
