Legend spoke of an underground hollow that lies very deep, not even for ten years the dwarfkin could reach digging. There were naught but ash and fire. The elementals called it 'The Red Forest', a grove not fond of tree and life but of rock and metal. Story described of solid rocks that lived, and grew from the ceiling like tree branches. From afar, they made a huge canopy bathed in reddish ambience. Hence the name.
