The Skeezick are the twisted and gnarled descendants of dwarves from before the Catastrophe. Their inferior physical abilities to the extremely powerful Draksar have forced the Skeezick into more submissive roles, typically holding positions as slavers, trappers, and shock-troops.
The Skeezicks are Valdac's primary guerrilla fighting force. They put their tactics to use in defending strategic locations, making use of their environment to gain the advantage against attackers.
Many smaller creatures were also effected by the same changes that created the Skeezick.
In Valdac, the Skeezicks are often given the odd jobs. The Arthromancers were tasked with gathering insects for the Broodlings. Over time, they developed a bond with their harvest.
Blackguards are rare amongst the Skeezick, as most simply do not have the discipline to endure the training required to achieve the status. Those who do earn considerable status amongst the Skeezick.
Skeezik Bolter regiments are trained to be skirmish hit and run specialists. They often flank enemy positions and retreat before an enemy has time to react. Pursuers often find themselves choking to death on poison trap left behind.
Skeezicks were never known for being "stable" but the Rippers seem to be affected by something otherwordly.
Most troops want a few ranks between them and the enemy. The Vanguard wants only an open path and the rush of wind.
Those skeezick not fortunate enough to avoid service in the Draksar military often find themselves in the least desirable of roles. Those less talented Skeezick whose eyesight are too poor for Sniper or Cannoneer duty are relegated to the role of Grunt.
When the Skeezick learned to channel Nora, the result was often sporadic and oddly effective.

Though the civil war ended, the Skeezick learned many things from it - a war fought with torches, pitchforks, and cunning.
The Skeezick to survive exile became accustomed to the arid Dunes of Valdac. When the rebellion ended and their crimes were absolved, their survival skills were put to use in service of the city.
