The Vale of the Sleeping Giants is a small valley which appears to have giants' heads hewn into the stone cliffsides surrounding the valley. The faces are in fact the faces of beings of power, such as demi-gods. The faces supposedly animate, allowing a supplicant to consult with or ask favor of the demi-god. It is considered a sacred place.
